[/h2]10 years have passed since the hero of Labyronia fulfilled the Dark Prophecy. This hero, Aeres, fought back against the four elemental beings, invading their strongholds across the land. He helped dismantle the armies of monsters that had trampled the countryside and devastated the centers of human power. Story was boring as it felt like a rinse and repeat of the original. Quite a few spelling mistakes in the exceptionally dull conversation. I find myself trying to complete the game as quickly as possible to end the dire story line. The characters are uncompelling and lack any level of progression or depth. The monsters\\opponents felt horrendously imbalanced. Sometimes I was able to slaughter them with minimal effort, and other times I was crushed almost immediately, and are forced to go train for 10 levels or more levels in tedious battles, of spamming the enter key. On the positive side, the boss fights provided some variety and interesting game development choices. The lack of a quest book or any kind of reminder made it difficult to remember where I needed to go, or whom I needed to visit in-between play sessions. In some cases there wasn't even a hint of who you needed to seek to proceed further into the game. The graphics have a slightly extended set over the RPG Maker Ace engine of which the game was built. However the Character Generator faces are just appalling . I have yet to encounter a bug in the game, so it was at the very least well coded for user experience. However a few modifications such as the addition of a journal\\quest book and a few balancing tweaks would make the game more enjoyable to play. My experience is not sour enough to deter me from playing the 3rd installment of the series, however my expectations are far lower.
